Signing Off in Denver
/Denver’s KCNC is losing decades of experience as longtime Reporter Rick Sallinger is leaving the station after 30 years.
Some might remember Sallinger from his days at CNN, working in London. At CNN, he covered major events, including the invasion of Kuwait and the first Iraq War.
He returned to Colorado as a Reporter at KCNC, his son Marc works across the street at KUSA.
While at KCNC, Sallinger covered major stories, such as the Columbine High School shootings and the murder of JonBenet Ramsey.
Sallinger tells FTVLive that he is leaving KCNC to go on disability leave. He is 73 years old.
The business loses another good one.
