Memphis’ WHBQ did an “investigation” comparing prices in the grocery store, compared to what 8-year-old Kevin McCallister paid for them in the movie “Home Alone.”
You might be shocked to learn that the prices in 2023 have gone up compared to 1990 when the movie came out.
In Home Alone, McCallister spent just under $20 bucks at the store. Today, it would have cost him over $45 bucks!
If this investigation doesn’t win an Emmy, I don’t know what will.
