What the Hell Happened?

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that Jeff Kiernan who was the News Director at WXYZ in Detroit is becoming the GM of Scripps-owned KTNV in Las Vegas.

Kiernan has his work cut out for him as KTNV has become a bit of a train wreck.

Maybe Kiernan can figure out what the hell went wrong with Saturday’s newscast.

The station teased a new hotel coming to Vegas and then went to a break that was loaded with commercials and promos and then just a countdown. Then the station went straight into a canned consumer story, then more promos, another countdown, and then the closer copyright. We never saw the Anchor for the last 8 minutes plus of the newscast, and we never saw the story about the new hotel.
