WJAR (Providence) is just months away from negotiating a new bargaining agreement with the IBEW union.

It seems that has the union meets with station and Sinclair management, there are a number of issues that need to be addressed.

In an email sent to union members, it appears that some WJAR employees are seeing stories assigned from corporate that they feel have an agenda.

Maybe a better approach for the newsroom leadership is not to let corporate dictate which stories you cover.

Let them make a suggestion on a story and then let the newsroom decide if it is in fact a story that should be covered?
