It seems that the one viewer noticed that KBTX (College Station, TX) Meteorologist Max Crawford was packing on a few pounds, and thought he should tell him about it.

So he emailed him with his unsolicited take:

For many working in a small market Texas station, you can decide between buying new clothes or buying food, but you can’t do both.

Crawford posted a picture with his reply, it seems he’s going with the viewer’s advice.
