COVID Knocks Atlanta Anchor Off the Air

WSB (Atlanta) Anchor Fred Blankenship has been missing from the station’s newscasts and he finally said why that is?

In talking about his absence, the Anchor said in a social media post, “The long and short of it is that Covid found my family with a bullseye.”

He added, “We took all the precautions, got the vaccinations and it still happened. We quarantined, tested like crazy and hoped for the best.”

He did say that he is doing better and will be back behind the anchor desk on Monday.
