Leaving the Rouge

WVLA (Baton Rouge) News Director Joe Spadea is leaving the station, but he is not leaving the Nexstar family.

According to an internal email obtained by FTVLive, Spadea is headed to the Nexstar station in Tyler, Texas.

Insiders say that WVLA experienced a high turnover rate while Spadea was running the news department.
