The Fake News Protest Reporter

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that a group of people gathered in front of Waterman Broadcasting WBBH in Ft. Myers to rally against the station and its “fake news.”

Apparently, some people have too much time on their hands.

That includes former WINK (Ft. Myers) Reporter Brendon Leslie, who now bills himself as an “Independent Reporter.”

Leslie hopped on the back of a pickup truck at the “rally” to speak to those protesting “fake news.”

He started off will a lie, by saying that he was going to be the first Reporter to say that he backs law enforcement and backs the military.

I’m quite certain I know a LOT of people in the media that do both.

Leslie then told the crowd that worked at WINK News and quit because “every single time I handed in a story it would come back to me exaggerated for whatever reason.”

Huh?

How do you pitch a story and then it comes back to you “exaggerated”?

And he says that this happened “every single time.”

Now, I know the News Director at WINK, I worked with the News Director at WINK and I can tell you firsthand that in my dealings this never happened to me and I never saw it happen to anyone else.

He then went on to claim that most of the media is full of lies and trying to push an agenda, while he was clearly doing the same.
