The 3rd Best TV Group During the Pandemic and Protests

The 3rd station group on our Best list might be a bit of a surprise.

Gray Television has not been the kind of company that many in TV news would rank as one of the better groups. But, when times got tough, Gray really stepped up their game.

Management has kept the staff informed during the pandemic and has assured them that they will not be taking part in any layoffs.

It was nice to see a group step up early, assure people that were scared of losing their jobs that all is well and the company had their back.

Also, when the Black Lives Matter protests came to light, Gray stepped up and donated $50,000 to the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund to help advance its necessary efforts toward a more just society for all.

When times got tough Gray rose up. As much as we were disappointed in how NBC acted in tough times, we were very impressed with Gray.
