The CBS bloodbath is like something we have not seen in quite some time and it is costing some households names their jobs.

FTVLive told you that WBBM in Chicago parted ways with Investigative Reporter Pam Zekman. Zekman had been at the station for over 40 years and is a legendary Reporter in the Windy City.

Some viewer favorites also got kicked to the curb in Los Angeles.

KCBS has cut Anchors Jeff Michael and Sharon Tay, along with Weatherman Garth Kemp.

Michael anchored the main shows on KCBS, Tay did so on KCAL.

3 years ago, Michael jumped across the street from KTTV to join KCBS, little did he know that 3 years later, he would be out on the street.

“We are restructuring various operations at CBS as part of our ongoing integration with Viacom, and to adapt to changes in our business, including those related to COVID-19,” a CBS spokesman said in a statement.

In other words, we are getting rid of older high priced talent and will the inexperienced kids take over.

At this point, it is clearly about money at CBS and Journalism has been pushed to the back of the bus.
