Silencing the Bell

Back in March of 2016, FTVLive told you about a social media post that many thought was racist from then WTAE Anchor Wendy Bell.

Not long after making that post, Bell was fired from the station and hopefully never to be heard from again in the media.

But, KDKA Radio somehow thought it would be a good idea to hire Bell to spout her crap on the radio station

Bell was then suspended from KDKA radio for spouting the same type of crap. In early September the radio station issued a statement that said in part, “Members of our community have recently brought to our attention comments made by Wendy Bell that do not align with Entercom’s values. Wendy has been taken off air until further notice.”

Well after Bell was pulled from the air, the ratings went up.

When you get suspended and the numbers go up, you know what happens next?

This week the station said that they were cutting ties with Bell and now she is once again unemployed.

Not sure if Sinclair or OAN are looking to hire, but we think we found your applicant.
