Back in April, FTVLive FIRST told you that WGCL (Atlanta) Anchor Sharon Reed was leaving the station after the May book.

On April 26th, FTVLive wrote, “Reed did not say where she is headed next and (Steve) Doerr did not say who would be replacing her. But, you can bet your bottom dollar that Reed’s replacement will be Shon Gables.”

Well guess what? Yesterday, it was announced to the newsroom that Shon Gables would be the new main Anchor replacing Sharon Reed.

Not to say we told you so, but we totally did.

Now the Meredith station just needs to figure out who the male Anchor will be?
