Anchor Goes Missing in Phoenix

Yesterday, FTVLive posted the story about KSAZ Anchor Kari Lake dropping the F-Bomb during a live stream after she was told by station management that she needed to take a link to Alt-Right social media website Parler off of her station branded Twitter account.

After FTVLive posted the story, the video was watched nearly 25,000 times (as of 3AM this morning).

While the Fox O&O has not made any comment about their Anchor throwing around the F-Bomb and acting like a 5 year old sent to their room, Lake was missing from yesterday’s newscasts on The Firm’s station.

Other media in the Phoenix area has picked up on the FTVLive story and it appears that KSAZ may finally standing up to their big headed Anchor.

KSAZ and Fox have gone silent as to Lake’s status and as to why she was not anchoring the news?

Has Lake been suspended? Sick? Fired? On vacation?

The station is not talking because….you know…. the communications business.

A former KSAZ employee that worked years with Lake had this to say about her, “I can assure you that Kari is one of the most unpleasant and unprofessional people in that building and she is disliked by many. I worked with her for several years and she was always bitter and hard to deal with.”

This much is clear, Lake is not an objective Journalist and has shown that in some of her previous actions and statements.

Maybe it is time that KSAZ moved on and found someone better for the job.

Or maybe, they already have.

Note: In our original story we said that Lake directed her “Fuck Them” comment at station management. But, insiders say that it was director at the Phoenix New Times and not management.

Either way, having your Anchor say “Fuck Them” on a live stream is unprofessional and inexcusable.
