A number of sources are telling FTVLive that KDVR/KWGN Investigative Reporter Chris Halsne, and Chief Photographer Isaias Medina quit the station.

Word is that the Tribune station decided to basically “dismantled the investigative unit” at the station.

Sources say that both Halsne and Medina walked into management and handed in their notice.

Both will stay till the end of the book. Medina has already landed a job across the street at the PBS station.

Don’t be surprised if it doesn’t take Halsne long to land a new gig as well.

Staffers at the Tribune stations are said to be “pissed” at General Manager Joan Barrett and News Director Brian Gregory over this.

Of course there is no internal emails sent out, because Barrett is afraid they will end up on FTVLive.
