A Ratings Staple

Just about every rating book you can count on a station doing this.

Going back years, each and every rating book has at least one station that will have one of their Anchors or Reporters meet up with the local fire department and see what it’s like to be a blazebuster.

The Reporter will get to dress up, play firefighter and then tell viewers about their experience. It has been done so many times it has become so cliche.

We almost made it through the May book without a station doing this so overdone story, but thanks to WRGB’s (Albany) Anchor/Reporter Emily DeFeciani the tradition continues.

Come back for the November book, when we promise, some station will do this again.
