Hating On the Weather Anchor

WZTV (Nashville) Chief Meteorologist Katy Morgan broke into Fox’s The Masked Singer to give viewers the news of tornados and flooding that was hitting the viewing area.

Many viewers were not happy that Morgan bumped the Masked Singer to deliver the news. She got a number of messages, some of what she shared.

Morgan wrote on social media, “I will always put lives ahead of a TV show.”

Sounds like a good idea to us.

Yesterday 2 people died due to flooding. 2 tornadoes caused damage. Unfortunately, I had to cover The Masked Singer to warn people about the dangerous conditions moving in. Here are some comments I received while on air. I will always put lives ahead of a TV show. pic.twitter.com/DmRf2cSZzq
