4 days ago, FTVLive told you that KUSI (San Diego) said that CNN contacted them about an interview with one of their Reporters about “the wall” and border security.
CNN ended up not talking to KUSI’s Reporter and the station tried to claim it was because KUSI says that the wall works.
The yesterday, FTVLive linked to a story from the AP in which they said that KUSI was backing off their claims against CNN.
KUSI then sent out this tweet:
KUSI claims that CNN spiked their story with the station, due to the fact that it did not line up with CNN’s left leaning political narrative.
It was News Director Steve Cohen that told the Producer to run the story that CNN was not doing a story (you still with me?) using their Reporter Dan Plante.
But, Cohen admits he never talked to CNN. A KUSI newsroom staffer tells FTVLive that the person that CNN did talk to was never asked by CNN, "What angle are you taking on the wall?"
Cohen told the AP, “It’s certainly plausible that they didn’t want it for the viewpoint, or they just didn’t want it,” he said. “Both are plausible conclusions. I made one rather than the other.”
In other words, you made up what you wanted to fit your narrative. So, basically you did what you accused CNN of doing.
What happened to the days of just covering the news? I miss those days.
