Today is a huge day in the saga which has been the Sinclair/Tribune deal.

Wednesday August 8th was the day that if a deal was not done, either side could walk away from it.

It is expected that Tribune will do just that Today.

Sinclair thought that the deal to buy the Tribune station for close to $4billion dollars would have been long sealed and completed by now. It is not, it has become a major embarrassment for Sinclair and it could cost them even more in the end.

The FCC says that Sinclair tried to deceive them and many are saying Sinclair was not honest in trying to push this through. The company acted cocky from day one, all the way up until it all fell apart.

So, today, Tribune has the chance to walk away and while they aren't the smartest group by far, it is expected that they will do just that. '

As FTVLive Patrons FIRST learned, it is expected that Fox Television is at least going to buy a number of Tribune stations if not all of them.

They say breaking up is hard to do, but in this case Tribune should have no problem telling Sinclair....C-Ya!
