Another Motown Anchor Goes M-I-A

Early this morning, FTVLive FIRST told you that Scripps owned WXYZ in Detroit has finally parted ways with Anchor Malcom Maddox.

As we wrote, this week, longtime WXYZ Anchor JoAnne Purtan leaves the station after she was told her contract was not renewed. That means after Friday the station will be down 3 Anchors, with Purtan, Maddox and main Anchor Stephen Clark all gone. 

You can now change that number from 3 to 4. 

Mani Anchor Carolyn Clifford posted on her social media that she will also be off the air at WXYZ. Clifford writes, "I just want you to know I'm going to be away from the anchor desk for a little while. I am not leaving, I am not disappearing and I am not retiring!! I am having surgery on Monday and I will then be recovering at home. In the meantime, please keep me in your thoughts and your prayers until I get back."
