We are taking action for you! Getting Results! And all that other crap that stations say.

You may remember, back in December FTVLive told you FIRST and EXCLUSIVELY about Nexstar's  cell phone policy.

Nexstar took away employee cell phones and told them if they use their own personal phone, Nexstar would give them a small stipend to offset using their private phone for company business.

The problem was people that agreed to the stipend would have to sign a form giving Nexstar to look at what you are doing, texting and calling on YOUR personal phone.

In other words, if you were sexting with your boyfriend on your own personal phone, Nexstar wanted to right to look at what texts and pictures you sent.

In our story from December, FTVLive said, "The idea that Nexstar's policy is giving them the right to access your PERSONAL phone is just plain wrong and is straight up unbelievable for a media company.  What you do on YOUR phone is YOUR business and not Perry Sook's. Say no to the stipend and don't use YOUR phone for any company business."

Well, it appears that many of the Nexstar employees did just that. One News Director tells FTVLive that less than half of his staff signed the cell phone policy and kissed away the stipend.

Now, one Nexstar Reporter tells FTVLive that the company is backing off on their policy.

"It looks like your reporting on the Nexstar phone policy helped", said one Nexstar staffer to FTVLive. "I am a Nexstar reporter and I can tell you they have revised the plan a little. They sent out new policies today to make people sign," the Reporter added.
