Yesterday, FTVLive told you that the Trump campaign had sent out a release saying that Sean Hannity, along with Rush Limbaugh would be appearing with President Trump at a campaign rally in Cape Girardeau.
"We’re glad to welcome Cape Girardeau native Rush Limbaugh and Sean Hannity as special guests to this final stop on the tour where President Trump will make his case to the American people to support GOP candidates on Election Day in order to continue our great American comeback under his leadership,” Michael Glassner, chief operating officer of the Trump campaign, said in the statement.
The idea that a Fox News talent would be actively campaigning for any candidates, should send the Fox News suits into a rage.
After we posted the story, Fox News emailed FTVLIve and asked us to update the story with a tweet from Hannity that was posted after our story.
Hannity tried to make it look like the FTVLIve report and others were wrong. He posted:
Well guess who was on stage last night standing behind the podium and right next to Donald Trump?
Yes folks, that is Sean Hannity, doing exactly what we said he would do and doing exactly what he said he won’t do.
We knew that Hannity’s giant ego would not keep him off the station in front of thousands of screaming Trump supporters.
"All those people in the back are fake news," Hannity said from the podium. Hannity took a big shot at the press pool, which included people from Fox News.
“This is disgusting and the sad thing is Fox will just give him a slap on the wrist,” said a Fox News employee to FTVLive. “He (Hannity) just spit in the faces of his bosses and they are to spineless to do anything about it,” the staffer added.
Hannity thinks he is untouchable at Fox News and many that work there believe that to be the case as well.
Fox News host Jeanine Pirro also was up on stage at the event showing that clearly at Fox News, the inmates are running the asylum.
Roger Ailes just flipped over one more time.
