Busted in Houston

KRIV (Houston) Anchor Isiah Carey was busted by police for DUI over the weekend.

While the news of the arrest was slowly leaking out, Carey took to social media and posted this:

Look, drinking and driving is a stupid move and not because you can kill yourself, but the fact that you could kill someone else.

That being said, everyone of us makes stupid mistakes and we give Carey props for owning up to his.

His apology seems real and he didn’t try to hide his mistake.

It was a stupid move and it looks like he knows that and will not make it again.

Should he be suspended? I say yes, there have to be a penalty for what he did. Fired? I don’t think so. He was forthcoming, honest and showed true remorse.

Let’s hope The Firm (KRIV is a Fox O&O) cuts him a break.
