Longtime Tegna Anchor Leaving to Sell Cars

A longtime Tegna Anchor is signing off from TV news and will start helping to sell cars.

After almost 20 years at WGRZ in Buffalo, Anchor Scott Levin is leaving the station after the May book.

Levin has anchored Tegna station's evening and late night newscasts at 5p, 530p, 6pm, 10pm and 11p since 1998.

Levin is leaving TV to join the West Herr Auto Group which is one of the biggest auto dealers in Western New York.

Not surprisingly, WGRZ's GM Jim Toellner, started kissing Levin's butt before he even walked out the door.

“We will greatly miss him but are genuinely pleased he is going to one of our client partners and a great WNY company.”

Spoken like a true Tegna GM....wouldn't you say?
