WFTV Anchor Martha Sugalski what's to report some good news this holiday season.

So, the Cox station is giving her a show on Saturday night where she can do just that.

Sugalski will host the special “Spread Love and Kindness” on WFTV and she hopes to get out the good word.

“At a time when we hear so much bad news, we decided it was time to showcase all the good that is happening in our community,” Sugalski said. “We are going to introduce you to both young and old, giving of themselves, spreading love and kindness around Central Florida.”

Paul Curran, market vice president of Cox Media Group Orlando, said, “Stories like these are a reminder of the amazing community we call home. We are proud to shine a light on the unsung heroes making a difference every day in Central Florida.”

Of course, airing them on the lowest watched night of television shows that Cox knows that it's still the death and destruction that pays the bills.

But hey....at least they're trying.
