Do they Get A Gold Star on Their Shirt as Well?

Back when FTVLive was in 1st grade, the teacher would end each week by handing out a little gold star to the kid that was the best in class that week. 

The teach would stick the star on the kid's shirt and claim that he/she was the "gold star kid" of the week. 

You might be surprised to know, I never won that award, not a single time. 

Well, fast forward to 2017 and the newsroom at WKOW in Madison, WI. 

News Director Ed Reams is bringing the 1st grade to the newsroom and has resorted to naming the "WKOW Super Stars."

No!..... Really this is happening. 

Check out this memo that Reams sent to the staff and was obtained by FTVLive:

"People want real positivity and to be treated like equals, not an forced "gold star" email from the principal," said one WKOW staffer to FTVLive. 

We're not sure if the people get a gold star to wear on their shirt or not.
