Working in a TV newsroom can be stressful, head banging and just downright frustrating.
Many in the newsroom, loved to put pictures of their kids or pets as the desktop background on their computers. It gave them a little break from a long day to look at what was waiting at home for them.
Well, Sinclair put the kibosh on that.
As FTVLive FIRST told you, the company is no longer allowing personal pictures on the computers in the newsroom. They have instead been replaced with a scroll of pictures of the new Sinclair mission statement.
"They forcibly changed everyone's desktop to scroll through slides from yesterday's meeting. It's coded into windows in such a way that users can't possibly change it or delete the theme without an administrator password," said one Sinclair staffer to FTVLive.
Here's a picture of one of the screens that the staffers must now look at everyday at work.
It sure beats the kids and dog pictures, don't ya think?
