Sinclair has said that they are going to offer up a newscast on their Fox affiliate in the Wilkes Barre, PA market.
What they haven't told viewers, the newscast will be produced and anchored 600 miles away.
Sources tell FTVLive that WOLF's start of newscast will also be hubbed out of South Bend. We told you that Sinclair is gutting their station in Toledo and canning staffers, so they can also produce the Toledo newscast from another state.
Word is that the Wilkes Barre newscast will also be produced from Indiana.
While all this is going on, the NAB and other lobbyist are pushing the Trump administration to relax ownership rules even more.
While station groups will continue to line their pockets with cash, the viewer and Journalism as a whole is getting screwed.
