Another One Jumps From Portland Station

When word came down that Nexstar was buying KOIN from Media General, the staff at KOIN have been jumping like rats off a sinking ship. 

FTVLive has told you about the mass exodus from the station (which includes not one but two GM's) and it does not seem to be letting up. 

Nexstar (voted the worst ownership group) could officially take over KOIN and the other Media General stations by the end of the year. 

KOIN Reporter Emily Sinovic was not waiting for Nexstar, she is jumping to Kansas City and KCTV. 

Here is the internal email sent to the staff in KC: 

Please join me in welcome Emily Sinovic to the KCTV5 Investigative team!

Emily joins us from KOIN in Portland, OR and is a graduate of Northwestern University, who also worked in Fargo, Chicago, Evansville and Tulsa. 

She is from Leawood and brings over 13 years of experience to our newsroom.  Emily will join us Monday, January 9th 2017.
