KSAT has parted ways to Jeff Roper, who was a co-host of the station's lifestyle show "SA Live."
Roper's bio has been scrubbed from the station's website and the station isn't saying very much.
"Jeff is no longer employed by the show, and we are searching for a new co-host," KSAT's creative services director David Cuccio said.
Pressed for more details, Cuccio added: "I'm afraid I have no further information."
Station insiders tell FTVLive that Roper got whacked over a joke that some found to be racist. But since the station isn't talking, we don't know for sure.
Roper, who helped launch the top-rated hour with Fiona Gorostiza in 2014, has stayed quiet on social media.
The TV business is great at talking about other people, not so much when it involves them.
