Was Megyn Kelly Poisoned of the Day of the Debate?

Fox News host Megyn Kelly's book comes out next week and some tidbits are starting to leak out.

First was the part about how she claims Roger Ailes made a number of inappropriate advances on her.

She also talks about Donald Trump in her book "Settle for More."

Her battles with Trump are well documented and they all started at that first debate where she asked Trump about his treatment of women?

Trump went off on Kelly for months and the Trump faithful attacked her at every turn.

But, what you might not know, is Kelly almost missed that first debate, because she was very ill. And she wonders if her sickness was done on purpose?

Kelly says that on the day of the debate, she was picked up by a, “overzealous, suspiciously enthusiastic driver.” The diver also gave her a cup of coffee and after she drank it, she felt sick to her stomach.

Within 15 minutes, she was violently ill, vomiting so uncontrollably that it was unclear if she’d be able to go on and help moderate that evening. It was so bad that she kept a trash pail beneath her desk throughout the debate, just in case.

Kelly never says outright that someone tried to poison her. (A stomach bug was going around, she notes.) But the episode spooked her enough that she shared it later with Roger Ailes and a lawyer friend of his.

So who was the person behind the sick drink?

Kelly doesn't know or doesn't say.

Her book comes out November 15th.
