Bounced MSNBC Anchor Resurfacing at BET

It looks like former MSNBC Anchor Melissa Harris-Perry is resurfacing.

FTVLive reported back in February that Harris-Perry was dropped from MSNBC after a temper tantrum when her show was preempted for news.. “I will not be used as a tool for [management’s] purposes,” she wrote to her staff. “I am not a token, mammy, or little brown bobble head. I love our show, I want it back.” “Our show was taken — without comment or discussion or notice — in the midst of an election season,” she wrote to staff.

Harris Perry is now headed to BET News as a special correspondent.

The network says that she will host and contribute to various BET News programs and develop longform news specials for the network.

The network will use her as host at both the RNC and DNC conventions.
