After Temper Tantrum MSNBC Dumps Melissa Harris-Perry

Let's be honest, it was a weekend show on a low rated cable news channel that not many people watched.

But, Melissa Harris-Perry's temper tantrum got her some headlines last week and lost her her job this week.

Perry got bent out of shape after the network pre-empted her show again and again.

She sent a scathing memo on Friday, accusing employers of using her as a token.

“I will not be used as a tool for [management’s] purposes,” she wrote to her staff. “I am not a token, mammy, or little brown bobble head. I love our show, I want it back.” “Our show was taken — without comment or discussion or notice — in the midst of an election season,” she wrote to staff.

More often than not when you pick a public fight with the boss, you know how it's going to end.

It ended exactly how you would expect. MSNBC kicked Harris-Perry to the curb.

She tweeted this out after getting sacked:
