Now that we have officially hit the Summer of 2016, can we get rid of something that has been around a couple of years now?

I'm talking about the hipster glasses that many news people and people in the news think is really cool. I'm telling you, they are not. FTVLive might not be at the top of the style chart, but we can assure you, the hipster glasses, make you look like a doofus.

Let's look at a couple of FTVLive favorite Anchors and show you what we mean. Here is WCBS Anchor Kristen Johnson, a beautiful person and a great Anchor.

Now here is Kristine in her hipster glasses with Judge Judy.

How about NBC Anchor Lester Holt. No glasses, he looks suave and debonair:

Wearing the hipster glasses just makes it look like you're trying too hard. Here's exhibit "A":

The hipster glasses were basically started a few years ago by the NBA players that would put on the glasses for post game interviews. They did it as a joke, but soon it caught on and of course TV people want to "be cool" so they all started wearing the glasses.
