Weatherman Demoted in SoFlo

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that WSVN Weather Hottie Julie Durda was leaving the station and crossing the street to WPLG in Miami.​

Durda had to sit out a non-compete and while she did rumors swirled ​as to which show she was going to anchor and which current weather anchors was going to get screwed? 

Now we know.​

As expected she is anchoring the Weekday morning shows and the anchor to get screwed is Scott ​Padgett.

Starting on Monday, Durda is the AM weather anchor M-F and Padgett is pushed to Weekend mornings.​ Padgett will take over for meteorologist Michael Smith who is leaving the station altogether.

Padgett came to WPLG in 2008 from KOKH in Oklahoma City  where he worked as the chief meteorologist. Now he's been busted down to weekend mornings at WPLG and he assume will be looking for a new job and a way to get out of his contract.
