Back in late June, Sinclair hired Micheal Lewis to be the new General Manager of KTUL in Tulsa.

“Michael is an accomplished General Manager, successfully driving revenue growth and effectively managing high-performing teams for over 15 years. We’re thrilled he is joining Sinclair to lead KTUL and look forward to continued success at the station,” said Sinclair’s Chief Operating Officer and President of Broadcast, Rob Weisbord at the time.

Ten months later, it appears Lewis is no longer at KTUL.

“There was a staff meeting today to let them know the GM, Michael Lewis, was no longer with the company,” said a Sinclair insider to FTVLive.

We called KTUL, and when we entered Lewis’s name into the automated phone system, we were told it was an “invalid entry.”

I guess the thrill is gone.
