With the 2nd quarter wrapped up, let's look at the cable news ratings.

Fox News won the quarter for the 66th straight time and CNN also found themselves in a familar spot.

Last.

In fact if you combine CNN and MSNBC's ratings, the two barely beat Fox News in total day viewers. And while 2 of the 3 networks were down in total day viewers for the quarter, only CNN saw their ratings drop into the double digits.

CNN lost almost a quarter of their demo viewers as well.

FNC: 1,409,000 total viewers – down 4% (286,000 in 25-54 – down 9%)
MSNBC: 930,000 total viewers – up 5% (196,000 in 25-54 – down 5%)
CNN: 658,000 total viewers – down 16% (202,000 in 25-54 – down 23%)

In Primetime, CNN was once again the big loser, MSNBC and Fox News grew (Bill O'Reilly who?):

FNC: 2,447,000 total viewers – up 4% (480,000 in 25-54 – up 2%)
MSNBC: 1,736,000 total viewers – up 6% (346,000 in 25-54 – down 11%)
CNN: 929,000 total viewers – down 12% (302,000 in 25-54 – down 18%)

As we now have entered the 3rd quarter, CNN continues to lose its way and watch their ratings continue to fall.
