Becoming the Deuce

Back in June, FTVLIve told you that WIVB (Buffalo) Morning Anchor Jordan Williams was leaving the Nexstar station at the end of the July book. 

At the time, we reported that Jordan said he had plans to return to Texas to be closer to his family, but he did not elaborate. 

But now he has. 

On Facebook, Jordan posted this update on his future:  

A quick update: as many of you know, I’m headed home to Southeast Texas to be with family. This was my grandmother’s smile when I told her I was moving home! The stars have aligned for a unique opportunity. I’ll be joining my hometown TV station in Beaumont, 12 News Now (KBMT), as Assistant News Director. I feel incredibly honored to join a team of journalists who weathered Harvey and persevered. It’ll be a special privilege to serve the region that shaped me as a person and inspired me to become a journalist. See y’all soon, Texas!
