Woman Claims Philly Anchor Assaulted Her
/A women and her boyfriend are claiming that WPVI meteorologist Cecily Tynan assaulted the woman at a U2 concert in South Philadelphia on Wednesday night.
In a Facebook post from the woman's boyfriend posted a picture of what appear to be marks on the woman's upper back and a picture of Tynan.
Brittany Lewandowski, reportedly filed a private criminal complaint against Tynan after Philadelphia police declined to arrest Tynan. Authorities would only confirm that the incident in question occurred, not the identity of those involved.
Lewandowski's boyfriend said that Tynan dug her fingernails into his girlfriend's back and told her to "shut the **** up" because she was dancing and standing up at the start of the show.
Tynan has made no comment and has not been charged with any crime.
