Tom Brokaw Puts His House on the Market

Former NBC Anchor Tom Brokaw has put his vacation getaway in Pound Ridge, NY, on the market for $6.3 million.

Brokaw and his wife bought the 56-acre property in 1998 for around $4.25 million, according to the Real Deal.

Billed as the “the Brokaws' family retreat for nearly 20 years,” the country estate is at the edge of a “pristine and private, five-acre lake,” according to the listing. The location is about an hour north of Manhattan, where the couple live.

Built in 1996, the European-style home features a stucco and shingle exterior, wide-plank pine flooring, Venetian plaster walls, exposed beams, and walls of glass. It has four beds and 5.5 baths, and measures 4,068 square feet.

Let's hope he has better luck than Matt Lauer when it comes to selling.
