Sources tell FTVLive that Anchor Allison Alexander has parted ways with KVOA in Tucson. 

Alexander joined KVOA in March of 2012 to replace Martha Vazquez. Vazquez was sacked after she was arrested for shoplifting. 

Sources tell FTVLive that Alexander told station management that she wanted to pursue another career in coming months. Insiders say that bosses told her to leave immediately.

"A lot of people are upset at how this was handled by management," says one station insider to FTVLive. 

KVOA has scrubbed Alexander's bio from the station's website.
