Talk about one hand washing the other.

Tegna owned WKYC in Cleveland has announced that Rhonda Crowder, founder and editorial director of Rhonda Crowder & Associates, LLC will be a guest on WKYC’s We The People program at noon Friday.

Crowder will be talking about the 13th edition of Who’s Who in Black Cleveland. The edition will have its debut Tuesday April 24 at the Intercontinental Hotel Cleveland.

Now you might be surprised to learn that WKYC is one of the media sponsors of the event.

You also might be surprised that WKYC has a number of people that are profiled in the latest edition of Who’s Who in Black Cleveland.

WKYC employees who are featured in this year’s edition are: Director of Advocacy and Community Initiatives Margaret Bernstein; Digital Content Producer Kierra Cotton; Reporter Dorsena Drakeford; Meteorologist Michael Estime; Director of Brand Strategy Monique Jackson; Anchor and Managing Editor Russ Mitchell; Reporter Jasmine Monroe; Multimedia Journalist Brandon Simmons; Reporter/Anchor Tiffany Tarpley and Traffic Reporter Danielle Wiggins.

In other words, this is a paid plug and I'm not sure who is getting the bigger plug, the woman that wrote Who’s Who in Black Cleveland? Or the station that paid to get a bunch of their people in Who’s Who in Black Cleveland?

Either way, it smells bad.

But then again, it's Tegna.
