FTVLive FIRST told you (don't worry the others will get around to the story today)  that fired Pittsburgh Anchor Wendy Bell had settled her lawsuit against WTAE.

Details of the settlement were not disclosed and lawyers on both sides are not talking.

Bell was sacked after posting what many believe was a racist rant to her Facebook page.

The station fired her and Bell turned around and sued the station and parent company, Hearst.

Bell said she would never have been fired if she was black and she then proceeded to throw her former co-workers under the bus.

Hearst had maintained that WTAE fired Ms. Bell not because of her race but because she made a "racially charged commentary in a post on WTAE's company-sponsored Facebook page" that was "inconsistent with the company's ethics and journalistic standards."

As for Bell settling the lawsuit, she says, "Let's just say I've moved on."

In other words, she didn't get very much money.

Just saying...
