The Weather Outside Turns 60

I grew up watching WKBW newscast in Buffalo. 

At the start of each newscast that said that Tom Jolls would be along with, "the weather outside."

Which if you were from out of town, you might think well, of course, it's the weather outside, we don't need to know the weather inside. 

But, Jolls did his forecast each and every night from outside the studio and in Buffalo that can sometimes make for some tough conditions. 

Well, according to WKBW, "The Weather Outside" has turned 60 years old. I'm sure it's just a coincidence that it happened in the middle of the Feb book. 

The station went back and talked to Tom Jolls, the same guy I grew up watching give the weather. 

It brought back memories of how great that station once was. At one point in time, it was the highest rated station in the entire country. Now it's the last place station in Buffalo.
