It looks like WGN in Chicago might finally be close to replacing longtime Anchor Mark Suppelsa, who retired from the station late last year.

Robert Feder says that the station is this/close to bringing on KGW (Portland) Anchor Joe Donlon as Suppelsa's replacement.

Donlon has been at KGW for 21-years.

He previously worked for stations in Tucson, Arizona, and Corpus Christi, Texas.

He's expected to pop up on WGN this Spring.
