ESPN Reporter Helps Lost Dog
/ESPN Reporter Dave McMenamin is FTVLive's Hero of the Day after he helped a lost dog find his way home.
McMenamin was in San Antonio covering the Cleveland Cavaliers and San Antonio Spurs game on Tuesday, where he saw a dog stuck in the middle of very busy traffic.
Most people just drive by a situation like that, but not McMenamin. He got out of his car and was able to rescue you the dog from traffic and get the pooch into his rental car.
But, he was in a city that he knew little about and asked Twitter for help.
A number of people responded telling him he should just keep the dog. McMenamin responded that he would love to, but that was not possible.
The dog ended up having a chip embedded and McMenamin dropped him off at a local shelter.
He later tweeted out the good news.
Great work Dave McMenamin! You went above and beyond and you need to be commended for doing a very good deed.
