Boston Station Holding Diversity Focus Groups

Sources tell FTVLive that struggling start up station NBC Boston has now assembled diversity focus groups to assess the damage from a series of racially insensitive missteps.
The new NBC O&O for Boston is just over 6 months in and the ratings have been worse than what any of the suits at NBC were expecting.
Also, the station seems to have a perception problem in the minority community.

Now, just days ahead of NABJ, sources tell FTVLive that diversity focus groups have been assembled at the station.
Sources tell FTVLive that NBC management has been less than impressed with NBC Boston News Director Kenny Plotnik and the ice under his feet is getting thinner.
