Sinclair Stock Tanks After Fox Threatens to Pull Affiliation

Let's just sad there are some worried faces in Hunt Valley.

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Fox is looking at pulling their affiliation from a number of Sinclair stations, including some of the Tribune stations that Sinclair is trying to buy.

Well that news along with other news about Sinclair is tanking the company's stock price.

Sinclair suits watch their stock fall by 12 points, while the rest of the market is at all time highs. The move by Fox was something Sinclair never saw coming and it could have a huge impact on the company's future.

Sinclair is already heavily leveraged with debt and this major hit to their stock price is not helping.

A number of Tribune employees are hoping that the bold move by Fox might help sink the Sinclair/Tribune deal.

"Rupert to the rescue!", said one Tribune staffer.

The Bottom line Boris is that was a sucker punch that Sinclair never saw coming and now we'll have to see if they can get off the mat.
