Typos on local TV stations happen....

Not enough staff, so many budget cuts and so little time can lead to a mistake or two getting on the air. 

Now, of course at the network, they have all day to do only a half hour of news and a huge staff to do it. 

That's why you never see those small market mistakes on the big networks.
