Watch this clip as ESPN's Steve Levy gives "our own Brett McMurphy" props for breaking a big college football story.

The problem is, Brett McMurphy was one of those that ESPN laid off back in April and no longer works there. 

McMurphy did break the story, but he did so on his private Twitter account. 

Levy at the time did not notice his slip-up. McMurphy did
