As FTVLive pointed out yesterday, all of the local Las Vegas stations have done excellent work covering the horrific mass shooting.

Sources tell FTVLive that Meredith owned KVVU has not yet stopped their live coverage of what happened.

The station started their 10PM newscast on Sunday night and as the shooting broke, they have stayed with the story non-stop.

Sources tell FTVLive that Meredith has brought in Corey Hanson, News Director of their Portland station to help. Word is that Hanson was already in Las Vegas on vacation.

The company has also brought in additional Directors, Reporters, and Photographers crews from Meredith’s Kansas City, Portland, and Phoenix stations.

The company also shipped KVVU additional LiveU units to the station, and the LiveU company itself sent a representative with more equipment.

The station also has a consultant from Magid on site to help shape their on-air presence.

Also, some web staffers from Phoenix have been brought in as well.

The station has now shifted coverage to telling the stories of the heroes of the event and showing how inspiring the people of Las Vegas have been in the aftermath of this tragedy.
